As previously reported, 3-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie and Daniel Dae Kim will soon join the Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I beginning Tuesday, May 3 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Doris Roberts, best known for her Emmy-winning role on the sitcom EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND, passed away Sunday, April 17, in Los Angeles. She was 90 years old.

Just this morning, Something Rotten and Spotlight star Brian d'Arcy James along with this season's break-out and genuflecting sensation Jennifer Simard from Broadway's Disaster announced the The Outer Critics Circle nominees for the 2015-16 season from New York's legendary Algonquin Hotel (59 W 44th Street.) Outer Critics Circle nominations are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season. Of note, because they were eligible last year for their Off-Broadway incarnations, HAMILTON, BLACKBIRD and DISASTER! were only eligible for new elements.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Anne Jackson, who was nominated for a Tony in 1956 for MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and who enjoyed a long career with her husband, Eli Wallach, died Tuesday, April 12, in Manhattan. She was 90.
