Jamie brought this edition of the show to the Friars Club last night and the Frank Sinatra Dining Room was filled with Friars and Jamie's friends as they dined and were entertained by some of the best in the business.

Marilyn Maye, Kenita Miller, Nancy Opel, Margo Seibert and Emily Skinner were on vocals.

Tony Danza is a guy with a personality and musical ability that wins you over from the first note he sings. Then he tells his stories and his jokes, which make you feel you would like to spend a week with him. That's a Tony Danza cabaret show, or to use a more authentic word, 'night club act'.
Photo Coverage: The New York Pops First Concert Of 2017 Celebrates Kander & EbbMarch 11, 2017Maestro Steven Reineke lifted his baton, pointed to a first tier box and started the New York Pops playing probably the most well known song ever written as he led the audience in Happy Birthday to soon to be 90 year old John Kander. BroadwayWorld was there for the opening night exciting concert which celebrated the music of the award winning song writers, the legendary Kander & Ebb. Cassie Levy and Tony Yazbeck, the triple threat singer, actor, dancers were the concerts guest artists. Probably not since Vladimir Horowitz had a nail tapped into Carnegie's stage for his piano placement has there been better tapping (dancing) than Mr. Yazbeck displayed at this concert. As in every New York Pops Concert, the joy of the music continues as Steven Reineke hosts an after party.

Photo Coverage: Smokey Robinson Brings the Sounds of Motown to the Kravis CenterMarch 6, 2017Smokey Robinson brought the sounds of Motown to the Kravis Center in Palm Beach last night and there wasn't one woman in the audience that didn't became his girl after he sang 'My GIrl', The Temtations signature tune which Smokey and Ronald White wrote and produced in 1964. Smokey Robinson wrote Motown's first song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard R&B chart, Shop Around, for The Miracles, a group he formed while still in high school. The Detroit native would go on to write many Miracles hits, including The Tracks of My Tears, I Second That Emotion and Tears of a Clown (with Stevie Wonder), plus songs for other Motown legends. Fifty years later, his high tenor voice remains a national treasure. The spectacular evening was sponsored by Sunny Sessa in loving memory memory of Leonardo Sessa, and Smokey's performance will surely be a loving memory for all who filled the Kravis Center to hear his great music.
