Parents looking for amusements for their children during the Christmas break may be happy to learn that Lynnea Benson, Artistic Director of Frog and Peach Theatre Company, is bringing back Tinkerbell Theater, two fairy tale plays performed in rotating repertory, December 26 to 31 at the West End Theater, 263 West 86th St. Each show is followed by a puppet making workshop, in which the kids in attendance make their own sock puppets.

Vegas' newest headlining show, THE PHAT PACK will donate a portion of their ticket proceeds to Easter Seals Nevada, the nonprofit that serves more than 7,000 Nevadans living with disabilities every year beginning November 29-January 29. Following the show at The Plaza Hotel & Casino, guests are encouraged to write "Easter Seals" on the back of their ticket stub and leave it in the donation box at THE PHAT PACK Merchandise Table.

Dicapo Opera Theatre will present the Opera For Kids favorite Beauty and the Beast with three performances beginning Saturday, December 1, 2012. Subsequent presentations take place Sunday, December 2, 2012. Saturday performances are at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m., and the final performance on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Eventually, Ugly escapes but has no idea how to return home. Along his way, he encounters a beautiful Swan, a flock of Geese and a Bullfrog to mention but a few.

The Public Theater announced today that it will extend the acclaimed new production The Twenty-Seventh Man an additional week, through Sunday, December 16. Written by Nathan Englander and directed by Barry Edelstein, The Twenty-Seventh Man officially opened on Sunday, November 18 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 9.

Olio Theatre Works welcomes award-winning director Gigi Fusco Meese as director when it brings back the timely drama INTIMATELY WILDE to the Long Beach Playhouse's Studio Theatre January 11th - 27, 2013 as a part of the 2nd Annual "People's Theatrical Collaborative".

Infinithéâtre has announced their upcoming production of Kafka's Ape, starring Howard Rosenstein. The play is written by Kafka and based on his short story, A Report to an Academy. Guy Sprung adapted the play from the original German and directs the production.
