Florida Grand Opera's 72nd season is marked by the return of company favorites. The company's season opener is none other than Puccini's internationally beloved La boheme, taking place at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from November 17, 2012 to December 2, 2012 and at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on December 6, 2012 and December 8, 2012.

The Spangles Dance Company has appeared on America's Got Talent, where they received a unanimous "YES" from all three judges.

The socially conscious new music collective Ensemble Pi will present its 7th Annual Concert for Peace on November 9 and 10 at the cell theatre in New York City. The concert/performance takes its title from Gunter Grass' controversial poem on Israel, Iran and war, "What Must Be Said." Inspired by the courage to talk, Ensemble Pi's program will showcase three composers whose work - or life - addresses some of the "silences" enforced or suggested by governments or the media.

This holiday season, Tennessee Repertory Theatre will once again present the holiday cult classic and Nashville's newest holiday tradition, A Christmas Story, adapted by Phillip Grecian and based on the motion picture by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark. A Christmas Story runs December 1 - December 22 at TPAC's Johnson Theater (with preview performances November 29 and 30).
