On October 28, Stoneham Theatre will pay tribute to "The Monster Mash," with the Monster Mash-Up fundraiser, an evening of songs, costumes, and prizes. Written by Somerville native Bobby "Boris" Pickett, the song is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Boston area actors Kerry Dowling, Bill Gardiner, Ceit Zweil, Aimee Doherty, McCaela Donovan and others will gather to sing an eclectic array of spooky songs from shows such as The Addams Family, Young Frankenstein, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Wicked, to name a few, as well as the headlining song, "The Monster Mash."

One of Pickett's two gold records (awarded for selling over 1 million copies of the song), will be displayed in the theatre that evening.

Attendees in costume will be eligible to win an iPod shuffle in the costume contest.

The event begins at 7PM on Sunday, October 28. Tickets are $50 and available from the box office by phone at 781-279-2200, in person at 395 Main Street, Stoneham, or online at www.stonehamtheatre.org.
