In a salute to Pop Culture Americana, Boomer Humorist Pat Hazell highlights the touchstones of the American family upbringing in his play THE WONDER BREAD YEARS coming to the Civic Center's Temple Theater beginning Wednesday, March 10, 2010 for a limited two-week engagement as a presentation of the 2009-2010 Prairie Meadows Temple Theater Series.

Kings of the swing music revival, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, will bring their rocking mix of jazz, swing, big band and original dance tunes to McLean's Alden Theatre for a single performance, celebrating the music of Cab Calloway, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 27. Tickets are $38, $33 for McLean tax district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

Tony Award Winner Mary Louise Wilson is set to star alongside Jayne Atkinson, Richard Easton and Michael Gill in THE GUARDSMAN from July 13th through the 31st. The Berkshire Theatre Festival production will be directed by John Rando.

The Dinosaur Musical comes from the creators of A Year with Frog and Toad and The A.R.T.'s Johnny Baseball. Steve Barkhimer and Edward Barker, who played Frog and Toad last year, as well as Mary Callanan (Mouse), Matt Spano (Snail), and Ceit McCaleb Zweil (Turtle), will again be a part of this talented cast. The Dinosaur Musical is appropriate for musical theatre-goers of all ages and is suggested for children in the 3rd - 6th grade.

New York Philharmonic Assistant Conductor Daniel Boico will lead the Orchestra in an exploration of Mozart's Symphony No. 41, Jupiter, on the season's final Young People's Concert (YPC), Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. The YPC theme in 2009-10 is 'Points of Entry,' with each concert taking a single great work as a window into how music is created and how an orchestra brings it to life. Philharmonic Director of Education Theodore Wiprud will host the concert, which is written and directed by Tom Dulack.
