National Constitution Center Hosts Reading of TROILUS AND CRESSIDA

The National Constitution Center and the Philadelphia Artists' Collective will present a free reading of William Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida, Shakespeare's poignant account of the Trojan War, on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. The event is held in conjunction with the Center's Ancient Rome & America exhibition. The Performance LAB will launch its inaugural season with a world premier musical, Le Cabaret Grimm - a punk cabaret fairy tale (sans fairies). It runs Thursday through Saturday April 8-24 at the Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont St. in Boston. Based on Tales of the Brothers Grimm, this experimental musical features a live band onstage, masks, large puppets and dance and is infused with a punk sensibility.

For the week ending March 7, the show grossed $1,325,299, breaking the previous record set by the show the week of February 28. JERSEY BOYS opened to rave reviews in Ft. Myers on February 19 (performances began February 17) and played through March 7. JERSEY BOYS will next play West Palm Beach's Kravis Center March 10 through March 28.
