As one who has been an Art Director in several notable advertising agencies, one can easily see how that has influenced Roy's photographic work. Mainly spending his time as a portrait photographer, but when time allows, his other passion takes him to the musical theatre. It is here, that he captures special moments in time to be immortalized. His photographs capture the essence of the subject, and often, the character of the individuals they are portraying. Roy is the official photographer for Musical Theatre Review in London UK.
At the moment, Roy is preparing for his book and photo exhibition showcasing people that have contributed to making the theatrical stage a magical place. Easily recognizable artists that have been photographed so far include Bea Arthur, Chaim Topol, Chita Rivera, Elaine Stritch, and Julie Walters, to name but a few. See more at www.roytan3.wix.com/
