Write and perform your own material with other funny women at Sketchfest Seattle's Women Only Sketch Comedy Intensive, a six-day series of two and a half-hour workshops held during SketchFest Seattle (Sept. 21-26), which will culminate in a performance on the final Saturday of the fest (Sept. 26). All women are welcome, regardless of experience level in theater or comedy.

Performances will be at the Cox Building Playhouse, 1517 H Avenue in Plano (next to the Courtyard Theater), continuing through October 3, 2009, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and an additional matinee performance on Saturday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m.

A CLASS ACT Named As A Final Addition To Cape Rep Theatre's Upcoming Season; Opens 9/17

Cape Rep Theatre announces the final addition to the 2009 Indoor Theatre Season. A Class Act, the Broadway musical features music and lyrics by Edward Kleban and book by Linda Kline and Lonny Price. A Class Act will open September 17 and run for 5 weeks through October 18. Performances will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm with Sunday matinees at 2pm.
