BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO is a new American play by Rajiv Joseph Starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut and directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Moisés Kaufman. The production opened March 31, at the Richard Rogers Theatre and was paid a special visit by Cherry Jones last night, April 12. Yesterday, April 11, Garnier brought some of NYC's most fabulous Broadway dancers, The Cagelles, to Times Square to mark the inaugural stop of their Cleaner Greener Tour. After a breif hiatus, ROCK OF AGES re-opened at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway last night, March 24. The five-time Tony Award nominated musical played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The production moved houses to make way for RAIN, which had to vacate it's home at the Neil Simon Theatre to accommodate Catch Me If You Can. Dick Cavett and Steve Guttenberg joined the cast of the 2009 Drama Desk Award winner and 2010 Bistro Award winner Celebrity Autobiography on Monday, February 28. The cast also included Mario Cantone, Rachel Dratch, Eugene Pack, Rosie Perez, Dayle Reyfel, and Alan Zweibel.

The Public Theater began previews Tuesday, February 1 for the world premiere production of Rinne Groff's COMPULSION, directed by Oskar Eustis. The cast features Hannah Cabell, Matte Osian, and Mandy Patinkin, with puppet design and puppetry supervision by Matt Acheson. Last night, February 14, Naked Angels celebrated its 25th anniversary as one of the most innovative theatre companies in New York with a spectacular Gala, including cocktails, an elegant dinner and skits written and performed by Naked Angels company members. Company Members Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick served as Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening, with entertainment directed by Tony Award-winning Company Member Joe Mantello.

The longest-running show in Broadway history, the Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Group, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince, reaches an unprecedented milestone today, Wednesday, January 26, 2011, when it celebrated its Twenty-Third Anniversary on Broadway. Playing its 9,566th & 9,567th performances at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street), it becomes the first Broadway production ever to have run 23 years.

Yesterday, January 10, Broadway star Harvey Fierstein and celebrity chef David Burke joined Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Robert Steel, NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta and corporate partners American Express, American Airlines and AT&T to announce the latest marketing and promotional campaigns to drive tourism and boost the local economy during the historically slow travel months of January and February. The event was held at R Lounge at the Renaissance Hotel Times Square.

Cast member T.V. Carpio officially assumed the role of 'Arachne' in SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, replacing Natalie Mendoza who departed the production last week after suffering a concussion at an early preview.
