Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has added actor John Michael Higgins (“Great News,” “Pitch Perfect”) as host of its new survey-matching game show, AMERICA SAYS. The new half-hour series will premiere June 18 at 5 pm ET and will air Monday through Friday.

Although the organization continues to grow, Rooftop Films will never stop supporting the work of up-and-coming short filmmakers. For this reason, they are excited to kick off their 2018 Summer Series with three programs of innovative and unorthodox short films from around the world. On Saturday, May 19, Rooftop will celebrate Opening Night in Green-Wood Cemetery with This is What We Mean by Short Films, a program that captures the adventurous spirit of the organization; on Friday, May 25 Rooftop will return to The Old American Can Factory in Gowanus for No Escape a selection of uncanny, disquieting mindbenders; and on Saturday, May 26 Rooftop will present its annual program of Dark Toons at Industry City. 

Free Radicals, a musical, political, and cultural force in Houston for over two decades, is releasing No State Solution, an album highlighting new remixes, new videos, and newly re-mastered tracks from their past six albums: The Rising Tide Sinks All (1998), Our Lady of Eternal Sunny Delights (2000), Aerial Bombardment (2004), The Freedom Fence (2012), Freedom of Movement (2015) and Outside the Comfort Zone (2017). No State Solution is a rejection of corrupt governments that can only make things worse, and a celebration of the communities that already have so many answers, if they can only throw off their mental and physical chains.

HBO and Sky today announced THE CASE AGAINST ADNAN SYED, a four-hour documentary series directed by Academy Award® nominee Amy Berg (“Deliver Us from Evil,” “West of Memphis”). The series will explore the 1999 disappearance and murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed, a case brought to global attention by the hugely popular “Serial” podcast. Working Title TV and Instinct Productions are producing and NBCUniversal International Studios are distributing the follow-up to the case, which will debut on HBO in the U.S. and on Sky Atlantic in Europe.

CBS will finish the season as “America's Most Watched Network” for the 10th straight season and the 15th time in 16 years. CBS passed NBC to secure the total viewer crown this week after NBC had built what seemed to be an insurmountable lead at the end of February following the Super Bowl and 17 days of the Olympics.

For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, Freeform's “Famous in Love” scored new season highs among Women 18-34 (128,000/0.37 rating) and Adults 18-49 (306,000/0.24 rating). “Famous in Love” also posted a new season best in Total Viewers (539,000). In fact, the Freeform drama delivered its No. 2 telecast ever and marked its best performance since its April 2017 series debut  in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 – since 4/18/17.

Phish has announced plans for a 14-date Fall tour, set to get underway October 16 with a double-header at Albany, NY's Times Union Center and then concluding with a four-night Halloween run - beginning October 31 - at Las Vegas, NV's MGM Grand Garden Arena. The tour also includes three-night stands at Hampton, VA's Hampton Coliseum (October 19-21) and Chicago, IL's Allstate Arena (October 26-28) as well as two nights at Nashville, TN's Ascend Amphitheater (October 23-24).
