Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. is excited to present for its' second show of their 25th season,The Homecoming by Harold Pinter at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan. It will open Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 8 p.m. and run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday. There will be no performance on Thursday, November 25th. There will be previews on Wednesday & Thursday March 2nd and 3rd at 8 p.m. Tickets for previews are $5. Signal Ensemble Theatre announces the third production in their 2010-2011, eighth anniversary season, Dario Fo's 'Accidental Death of An Anarchist,' directed by ensemble member Anthony Ingram. A bomb blast in a bank kills dozens and injures over a hundred, and the police pick up a professed anarchist for questioning. While being interrogated, he 'accidentally' falls out of a fourth floor window. Based on this true event which marked the beginning of a decade of state-sponsored terror, Nobel Award-winner Fo's play is a hilariously scathing satire that uses brutally funny violence and tragic wit to shine a light on the terrifying lengths governments will go to preserve their grip on power. The show will run about two hours with one intermission, and $5 from every ticket sold on March 12 will benefit SeasonofConcern.org

(Today Sunday 13th Feb) Four young ‘explorers' joined forces with some very special Crafted Creatures - PVC and fabric rabbits by artist Sharon Hay, as they 'hopped' on the LUAS to follow the Find: Crafted Creatures trail - a self-guided weekend treasure-hunt trail for families produced by The Ark and the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History, brought to you by LUAS. The trail runs alongside Crafted Creatures, an exhibition and series of craft workshops where each child can make their own crafted creature, running at The Ark from 15th February, specially commissioned by The Ark, A Cultural Centre for Children and the Crafts Council of Ireland as part of Year of Craft 2011.

The stars of the film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE appeared at The National Arts Club at 15 Gramercy Park South in New York on Friday, February 11 to read from the new book 'In the Mean Time,' by Anthony Haden Guest. Mr. Guest, along with Bill Connington (ZOMBIE) and Juliette Bennett (AS GOOD AS DEAD) read satiric selections for a packed room of people from the theater, art, and journalistic worlds. The three performers just wrapped shooting the comedic film THE THORNHILLS, directed by acclaimed director Thomas Caruso.
