On March 15, Geva Theatre will hold a reunion concert of the original Mainstage cast of Gregg Coffin's musical, CONVENIENCE. Mark Cuddy will direct the performance with musical direction by Don Kot.

Melissa Rain Anderson, Ron DeStefano, Mary Jo McConnell, Jim Poulos, and Martin Vidnovic -- will reprise their roles one-night-only.

When it premiered in the Nextstage at Geva in 2000, audiences fell in love with Gregg Coffin's CONVENIENCE. A hugely successful run in the Mainstage followed, and CONVENIENCE has been delighting audiences across the country ever since. The original cast is reuniting for this concert to commemorate Geva's 25th Anniversary in the New York State Armory Building in Rochester, NY.

In the show, a single mom and her estranged 26-year old son have news to tell each other, but neither can find the right words to say -- or the courage. Liz's (McConnell) news is that she's getting remarried and Vince (Poulos) is afraid of how Liz will react when he tells her that he's gay.

Patron tickets are on sale now for $75. Tickets include a post-show reception with composer,
Gregg Coffin and the cast, plus an autographed CD of the original soundtrack for the first 100 patrons.

Tickets to the performance only will go on sale to the public on February 12th. Tickets are only available by calling (585) 232-Geva (4382). Call at your earliest "convenience" for the best seats.
