Broadway's Sebastian Arcelus, who previously appeared onstage in ELF and JERSEY BOYS, is trying on a more serious, and non-singing role in A TIME TO KILL. The play is a Rupert Holmes' adaptation of a novel by John Grisham and will open today, May 22 at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, after previews which began on May 6.

Hush the Musical Review, a production from Charles Mandracchia & the Frizzi & Lazzi Musical Theatre Company, played five sold out Off-off Broadway at the Roy Arias Theatrs, NYC returns for an encore, two performance run at the world famous Triad Theatre, NYC. The show ran May 19th at 7pm and will play again May 26th at 7pm. Tickets are $15 plus 2 drink minimum.

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is accepting headshots and resumes for the role of Oliver Warbucks ('Daddy Warbucks') for its upcoming production of Annie Warbucks. All other roles have been cast through previous auditions. Please send an e-mail with your headshot and resume to dave@coloradocandlelight.com. All materials must be received by Friday, June 3, 2011 in order to be considered. Once we have received the headshots and resumes, we will contact the actors that we are interested in seeing for an in-person audition. Participating in Art Hong Kong is another step in Galerie Lelong artists' distinguished history in Asia and the Pacific Rim. Museum participation began with a 1937 Japanese exhibition on Surrealism which included the work of Joan Miró. Since the 60's, Miró's work has been presented in a number of monographic exhibitions in Japan. Alberto Giacometti's first monographic exhibition in Tokyo took place at the Minami Gallery in 1958, and Giacometti in Asia recently toured Japan and Singapore from 2007-08.

According to Mr. LaBute, these pieces were written '... to say something about love and life and betrayal and art and a number of other themes.... Each one for a different reason and for a different show or person or cause....along with some new material that is debuting here, these fragments of work have been performed in venues around the world but never before in this exciting combination. My task is to be true to my characters and to take my audience for a ride--I hope you all feel like that's the case when the curtain comes down (or the lights go out) and you've made it to the curtain call'
