Chicago Fire's Monica Raymund of Sisu Theatrical Productions, LLC, Jacob Harvey of Cave 76 Productions, LLC and Jordi Coats presented a cabaret-style concert of VOLLEYGIRLS last night at 54 Below, which included tunes from the breakout hit from the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Broadway Sings Justin Timberlake, the sixth concert of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series, just continued last night at (le) Poisson Rouge. (UMC) continues its 2014 developmental reading series at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center with a special presentation of I Had a Ball, the 1964 Coney Island musical comedy with a book by Tony Award winner Jerome Chodorov (Wonderful Town) and a score by Stan Freeman & Jack Lawrence. The reading, directed by Ben West (Unsung Carolyn Leigh, The Fig Leaves Are Falling, Make Mine Manhattan), was held earlier this week in the Bruno Walter Auditorium. Just last night, 'Submissions Only' co-creators Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger celebrated the songs of their hit web series at 54 Below. Dinosaurs once again roam the earth when the spectacular production, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS THE ARENA SPECTACULAR, based on the award-winning BBC Television Series, returns to North America this summer. This updated production will showcase changes to the dinosaurs based on the latest scientific research including the likely feathering of some species.
