Huntington Theatre Company will honor longtime Huntington supporters Trustee Judi Krupp and her husband Douglas and visionary Our Town director David Cromer with its highest honor, the Wimberly Award, at the 2013 Spotlight Spectacular gala on Monday, April 22, 2013. The event begins at 6pm at the Park Plaza Castle.

Three new shows have been added to The Artist Series' 2012-2013 Season. GIRLS NIGHT: THE MUSICAL (January 17th-20th), ELVIS LIVES! (January 19th), and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT LIVE: ALL STARS (March 23rd) will all play Jacksonville's Times-Union Center as part of The Artist Series' 47th Season.

When Harry Somers was just 16, he made a daring escape from Nazi Germany and began a new life, passing through England to attend Dookie Agricultural College in Australia. At 20, he joined the Australian Army, where a fellow soldier introduced him to the art of painting. Later, in New York City, his creative powers blossomed, and he began presenting his work in exhibitions and selling paintings to celebrities and socialites. Nevertheless, the memories of his harrowing ordeal were always close to the surface.

In keeping with the broader vision of inclusivity and relevance within the community that has characterized the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) under Music Director Marin Alsop, the BSO announces a new pilot Orchestra Fellows Program. The BSO's Orchestra Fellows program is conducted in partnership with Sphinx, the non-profit organization that seeks to overcome the cultural stereotype of classical music and promote diversity in the arts. The Orchestra Fellowship is intended as a year-round mentorship program for talented young musicians of color. Tami Lee Hughes, a violinist and Baton Rouge, La. native, has been appointed the Orchestra Fellow for the program's inaugural 2012-13 season.

The Community Theatre of Little Rock will present its Christmas Musical 'A 1940's Radio Christmas Carol". Show dates are November 16st, 17nd, 22nd, 23th, 24th, December 1st and 2nd at 7:30 pm and October 18th and December 2nd at 2pm, to be held at the PUBLIC Theatre, located at 616 Center Street, next to Horn's Men's Store in downtown Little Rock. Regular admission is $16 for adults and $14 for military, students and seniors age 65 and over. Groups of 10 or more can get in for $14. Children age six and under are given free admission. Dialogue with Three Chords presents "Lovecraft in Brooklyn" a staged reading of a new work from playwright Stephen Gracia that explores H.P. Lovecraft's tumultuous time living in Brooklyn while newly married. The reading also includes the curtain raiser "When I Dream, I See Strange Men: The Ascension of Elias" which deals with an imagined alien abduction. Both pieces are directed by Michael LoPorto. The show also features live music from Tommy Lombardozzi on October 25 downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's pub on 63 Carmine Street in Manhattan. Admission is free with a $3 suggested donation.

Jetset Getset (JSGS) is stepping up to help musicians who are down on their luck. The teenage country music band will perform a concert November 7 at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Cincinnati, Ohio, to celebrate the release of their new album "Saturday Night" (Playback Records). Proceeds from CD sales at the show will benefit Play It Forward, a nonprofit organization that supports musicians during times of crisis.
