Since its founding in 1992, SITI Company has redefined contemporary theater in the United States through an innovative approach to collaboration, cultural exchange, and actor training. With the idea of the ensemble as its bedrock, SITI has served as a creative home for a core group of artists: ten actors, four designers, the director Anne Bogart, and a stunning list of international collaborators. Working together, SITI has not only reimagined what is possible both on and off the stage, but, more broadly, what it means to be a global artist in the new millennium. To celebrate its 20th year of groundbreaking theater, SITI will present its most ambitious and diverse season of activities to date.

Artistic Director Harry Christophers returns to Symphony Hall to lead the Handel and Haydn Society's Period Instrument Orchestra and Chorus in Handel's Messiah in the 159th continuous year of performance since H&H began programming the work annually in 1854. This season features a stellar collection of guest artists, each of whom has appeared with H&H in the past. H&H eagerly anticipates the return of exceptional soloists soprano Karina Gauvin, countertenor Daniel Taylor, tenor James Gilchrist, and baritone Sumner Thompson.

Presented by The Private Theatre (John Gould Rubin, Artistic Director; Lucy DiRosa, Executive Director) and Barbara Ligeti, the world premiere of the new solo show, Turning Page, written and performed by Angelica Page (Gore Vidal's The Best Man) with direction by Tony Award® nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore), will end its limited engagement this Sunday, October 28, 2012 at The Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street) where performances began October 11, 2012.

Today Ringo Starr announced that he and his All Starr Band will tour the Pacific Rim this winter with select dates in New Zealand, Australia and Japan. The band is the same line up which just completed a North American tour this past summer and features Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr.Mister), Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera, Gregg Rolie (Santana & Journey)and Gregg Bissonette.

In place of the company's typical go-to holiday farce, EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD!!, Capital Stage presents a different kind of farce for the season. Eric Wheeler who has starred in the annual Christmas production, returns to star in MISTAKES WERE MADE as B-list Off-Broadway producer Felix Artifex. This darkly comic tale opens on Saturday, November 17, 2012 and will continue through December 16, 2012.

Trinity Repertory Company has announced that they have received a $50,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to the theater and its programming. Through this award, Bank of America is recognizing the economic impact Trinity Rep's performances and educational programs have on the region. The grant is part of a national multi-million dollar investment by Bank of America to create economically vibrant communities that are better places in which to live and do business.
