Reggae-influenced alternative rock band Iration has announced their seventh full-length studio album Coastin' will be released early Summer 2020 (date to be announced soon) and has also revealed their annual summer touring plans. An audience of Quebec-based producers and international guests watched as the six finalist duos delivered their pitches. The new documentary, The Definition of Insanity, explores the groundbreaking work of The Miami-Dade Criminal Mental Health Project (CMHP), an approach being heralded as a model for helping to solve the mental health crisis in America. A people-powered community-wide safety net, CMHP works through the court system to steer people with mental illness a?" as their legal cases hang in the balance a?" on a path from incarceration to recovery. Shocked by how people with mental illness were treated in Miami-Dade's jails, Judge Steven Leifman works with a team of dedicated public servants, as well as former adversaries in the criminal justice system, to help people with mental illness navigate from lives of tragedy to possibility. Building on the story of Miami's once-failed mental health system a?" a familiar national narrative of over-incarceration and brutal mistreatment a?" The Definition of Insanity instead reveals a humane criminal justice approach to mental illness that is orchestrated from the court outwards into the community. Naïve Art is the debut album by San Diego (by way of Liverpool) synth-pop duo Red Flag, consisting of brothers Chris and Mark Reynolds. This is the 30th Anniversary reissue of the vinyl which has not been available since 1989. It contains all original versions from the initial release along with four additional bonus tracks. The original pressing was a single vinyl release with all the tracks severely edited down, so that it could fit on a single record. This has been remedied for this new re-release. And unlike the original '89 vinyl release, this deluxe reissue features a gatefold cover and printed lyrics.

The CMA Foundation, a national music education nonprofit and the philanthropic arm of the Country Music Association, is honoring 30 music teachers from across the country as Music Teachers of Excellence.
