Jessica Vanek is 20 years old and recently relocated from Las Vegas to Oklahoma where she is now attending Oklahoma City University as a Musical Theatre major / Mass Communications minor. Though she loves musical theatre, she also has a deep devotion to jazz standards. She has previously performed all across Las Vegas and has been pursuing her passion since the age of 9.

Jess here. It's a wrap. My first semester of college is over, and wow, did time fly! Now that I'm on winter break and have returned home to a warmer climate, I've had some time to relax and refuel. Reflecting on the last four months of college has been inspiring, so I thought I'd share some of the pearls of wisdom I've collected during my short tenure as a Musical Theatre student thus far.
