Hugh Jackman Suffers Injury on Oprah in AustraliaDecember 14, 2010Reuter's reports this morning that High Jackman suffered an injury while shooting a segment for the Oprah Winfrey Show in Australia earlier today. Jackman was performing a stunt that involved making an entrance on a zip cable. Due to a faulty break, Jackman crashed into a rigging pole, hitting his eye. He is said to be not seriously injured and continued taping the segment after the accident.
DONNY & MARIE Extends Through The New YearDecember 13, 2010Donny & Marie - A Broadway Christmas, a new holiday production starring America's favorite sibling entertainers, has extended for two performances, now ending on January 2, 2010. Jackson will debut his new one-man show, All I Know. Neil Patrick Harris Joins New York Philharmonic for COMPANY Concert, 4/7-4/9December 10, 2010The New York Philharmonic will present Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking Company, with an all-star cast led by Neil Patrick Harris, star of the hit television series, How I Met Your Mother, on April 7-9, 2011. The award-winning musical will be produced and directed by Lonny Price, who directed and co-produced last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert!, and will be conducted by Sondheim specialist Paul Gemignani, with the original orchestrations for a 35-piece orchestra by Jonathan Tunick. Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the production will open on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street, New York City).
Today, a spokesperson for the production has announced that The strictly limited 14-week engagement will begin previews on March 15, 2010 one week earlier than originally announced date of March 22. Opening night remains scheduled for April 11, 2010.
