WP Theater, by special arrangement with Segal NYC Productions, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of What We're Up Against, written by Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius, Seminar, NBC's 'Smash'), directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Dry Land, Empathitrax).

Roundabout Theatre Company is presenting the New York premiere of The Last Match by Anna Ziegler's, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. The cast includes Wilson Bethel as 'Tim,' Alex Mickiewicz as 'Sergei,' Natalia Payne as 'Galina' and Zo Winters as 'Mallory.'

Signature Theatre presents Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Obie Award-winner Mark Brokaw. This is the first NYC production of this play since its debut in 2000, when The New York Times' Ben Brantley called the play 'written in fire,' and wrote that 'plays of this ilk automatically raise the body -- and mind -- temperature of New York theatre.'

Earlier this week, the original Broadway and West End cast of the Tony and Olivier Award winning hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong was honored with a Tony's DiNapoli Broadway Wall of Fame portrait at the Times Square eatery after the new company of stars took their curtain call following their first performance at The Lyceum Theatre.

Signature Theatre is presenting Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' The Red Letter Plays: Fucking A & In the Blood. This is the first time these acclaimed plays will be presented together; they will run simultaneously at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). These two plays mark the final productions of Parks' Signature Residency One.

Playwrights Horizons presents the New York premiere production of For Peter Pan on her 70th Birthday, a new play by two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl (Stage Kiss, Dead Man's Cell Phone at Playwrights; In the Next Room, or the vibrator play; The Clean House).

The name on everybody's lips is gonna be Brandy! Grammy Award-winner Brandy Norwood returns to Broadway in Chicago for a special 17-performance only engagement as 'Roxie Hart,' now through August 31, 2017 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.). Check out photos from her first bows below!

The cast of Broadway's hit musical Bandstand - the only musical to depict the World War II veteran experience on Broadway - welcomed 'America's Longest Working Rosie the Riveter,' 97-year-old Elinor Otto, and 93-year-old Luke Gasparre, decorated Battle of the Bulge Purple Heart recipient in his original service uniform, to the Broadway stage on Friday evening. Following the performance curtain call, Bandstand star Corey Cott invited them to join the Broadway company for a special salute and bow. Actors' Equity Association just presented The Great Comet, Come From Away and A Doll's House Part 2 the co-recipients of the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2016-17 theatrical season.

Bernadette Peters and Malcolm McDowell, co-hosted yesterday's 19th annual dog & cat adoption event, Broadway Barks. The stars turned out to lend a hand to the event, founded by Peters and and Mary Tyler Moore, and to introduce the crowd to some furry new friends for the taking. WAR PAINT, currently running at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), played a sold-out run in Chicago last summer where it became the most successful show in Goodman Theatre's history. War Paint was nominated for four 2017 Tony Awards, including 'Best Actress in a Musical' for both of the leading ladies. Now the show is celebrating 100 performances on Broadway and BroadwayWorld was on hand for a special toast with the cast!

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical Anastasia is now available, and the cast just celebrated its release at Barnes & Noble! ANASTASIA features a lush, original score from Tony Award winners Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). The score also includes several of the most beloved songs from the 1997 animated film, adapted for the stage. The 75-minute album will include the Academy Award nominated favorite 'Journey to the Past' alongside new numbers from the show such as Christy Altomare's haunting 'In My Dreams,' Ramin Karimloo's passionate 'Still' and Derek Klena's heart-racing 'My Petersburg.'

Now celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Sing for Hope has created the country's largest annual public arts project, reaching an estimated 2 million New Yorkers annually across the five boroughs. This summer marks the placement of the 400th artist-designed piano to date. Cast members from CATS, School of Rock - The Musical, and The Phantom of The Opera combined forces to design and paint a special Andrew Lloyd Webber piano.

Just last night, the Acting Company held a one-night-only benefit reading of British drama The Chalk Garden by Enid Bagnold, starring Angela Lansbury. Completing the cast were Tedra Millan (Present Laughter, The Wolves) as Laurel, Patricia Conolly (The Front Page), Michele Tauber (Mint Theatre's The Charity That Began at Home), Holly Villaire (Scapino), Francesca Faridany (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) as Miss Madrigal, Simon Jones (Blithe Spirit, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) as the Judge, David Lansbury (War Horse) as Maitland and Charlotte Parry (The Importance of Being Earnest) as Olivia.
