Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is returning to Washington, D.C. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the National Theatre for two weeks only, June 12 through June 24. Ovation Award Recommended play, "Tennessee in the Summer," written by Joe Besecker, will be extending its run until Sunday, June 10, 2012. Starring Jack Heller as Tennessee Williams, Tamara Braun as Woman, Louise Davis as Rose Williams, Edwina Williams and Nurse and Robert Standley as Youngman, Frankie Merlo and Dakin Williams, performances will be given at Sidewalk Studio Theatre, 4150 Riverside Drive, Burbank, CA 91505 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., June 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2012 and Sundays at 7:00 p.m., June 3 and 10, 2012.

Ferdinand Kingsley will play both God and Jesus opposite Coronation Street villain Graeme Hawley, who takes on the role of the Devil, in the York Mystery Plays to be staged throughout August against the backdrop of the St Mary's Abbey, York. Kingsley and Hawley will be joined by over 2,500 people in the staging of what is believed to be the UK's biggest outdoor theatrical event of 2012. With over 1,700 local volunteers comprising the two casts of community ensemble, musicians, choir and crew, the York Mystery Plays run from 2 to 27 August.

Written and directed by Jim Cartwright, the Olivier Award-winning THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE will begin a national tour at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre on Friday 31 August, with opening night on Tuesday 4 September. The show stars Beverley Callard as 'Mari Hoff', Ray Quinn as 'Billy', Joe McGann as 'Ray Say', Duggie Brown as 'Mr Boo' and Jess Robinson as 'Little Voice'.

The production then tours the UK, finishing in London for a run July 30 to August 4 at the Chelsea Theatre.

On June 21 the earth spins around its axis, summer begins in the northern hemisphere, Pagans leap through bonfires, the planet tilts and Roulette welcomes back maverick, minimalist composer Phill Niblock who will once again take over to celebrate the summer solstice in a visual and audio feast comparable only to the madness of Midsummer. This time round, Niblock presents "Two Lips" a scored orchestra piece featuring the Dither Guitar Quartet and Neil Leonard playing saxophone with Sax Mix. TADA! YOUTH THEATER, the Drama Desk and Coming Up Taller Award-winning organization, is gearing up for a hot summer in the city. First is the June 2nd kid-fueled Dance-A-Thon, then two 1-Day Camps on June 7 and July 2 and new for 2012 2-week mini camps for ages 4 and 5, as well as, week-long camps for ages 6-14.
