A new cast has been announced for The Woman in Black, one of the most exciting, gripping and successful theatre events ever performed, now in its 23rd year in the West End in a production revisited by original director Robin Herford. A. D. Players has announced its 2012-2013 season, opening with the Houston professional premiere of Steven Dietz's award winning play, Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, and followed by the Houston premiere of The First Church of Texaco by Andrew William Librizzi and the Southwest Premiere of Malcolm and Teresa by Cathal Gallagher. These productions are complemented by sequels to audience favorites, Sanders Family Christmas, written by Connie Ray and conceived by Alan Bailey with musical arrangements by John Foley and Gary Fagin, and Anne of Avonlea by Jeannette Carlisle.

Almost 17,000 stadium seats go on sale today (30 May 2012) for the West End transfer of Chariots of Fire. Following its sell-out run at Hampstead Theatre, Edward Hall's production will open at the Gielgud Theatre on 23 June 2012 where it is currently booking to 10 November 2012. Inspired by Colin Welland's original screenplay, award-winning playwright Mike Bartlett's new adaptation is based on the true story of Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams' inspirational tale of hope, honour and belief.

Oberon in association with the Ministry of Theater will present a pre-New York tryout of ROLLER DISCO THE MUSICAL!, an unautherized parody of the classic film Roller Boogie, from May 30 to August 30 at Oberon in Cambridge Massachusetts, with its world premiere opening night on June 13. With executive producer Pablo Rojas, Roller Disco aims to transfer to Off-Broadway in Spring 2013.

A highlight of Lincoln Center Festival will be DruidMurphy, three plays (Conversations on a Homecoming, A Whistle in the Dark, and Famine) by Tom Murphy, staged by Garry Hynes for Druid Theatre Company from July 5-14 in the Gerald W. Lynch Theater. To complement these performances, Fordham University's Institute of Irish Studies, The Galway University Foundation, and the National University of Ireland, Galway will host an all-day symposium on July 12 from 1-6:30 PM at Keogh Studio Theater, Fordham University at Lincoln Center, 113 W. 60th Street at 9th Avenue.

Dixon Place will present the world premiere of Rachel Klein's Symphony of Shadows: A Tale from the Land Beyond the Veil from June 7-23 at Dixon Place, New York. This movement-based spectacular tells the story of a woman combating a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors & other visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind. Symphony of Shadows merges striking elements of circus & aerial arts, dance & movement, burlesque & operatic productions to vividly illustrate its storyline in a genre-defying form which "evokes a live-action silent film." Symphony of Shadows was commissioned by Dixon Place as a world premiere as part of the theater's Monde Cane original works series.
