A simple love story between a librarian and a young English teacher is the excuse for a twenty minute jukebox opera, inflicted on unsuspecting Edinburgh library goers all this week. The show will be performed in various Edinburgh City Libraries and the Scottish Poetry Library until Saturday the 16th. The exact times and locations will be advertised on Twitter and Facebook a half-day before each performance.

Gladstone Parks & Recreation has announced "Touch and Go", a brand new music sensation, as part of the "June Tune Series" at the Gladstone Amphitheatre. They will perform on Tuesday, June 26th beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The Chicago Sinfonietta's final concert of the 2011-2012 season, titled Passion. Tragedy. Art Gallery Tours New York have announced a Lower East Side art gallery walking tour for Saturday, June 23 at 1:00 PM - rain or shine. The tour will meet at 196 Bowery near Spring St. and cost $20.

The weather outside may be cold, but things are heating up inside The Court Theatre with Dave Armstrong's '100% pure NZ comedy' THE MOTOR CAMP, inspired by one of the great kiwi summer traditions. Based on a story by Danny Mulheron, THE MOTOR CAMP is directed by Tim Bartlett. The show ill be performed 23 June - 4 August 2012 at The Court Theatre, Bernard St, Addington.

Misshapen Theatre has announced the return of their science fiction theatre night BLAST OFF on Tuesday 10th July at 7pm in the Soho Theatre. The latest episode of Blast Off brings together a brand new lineup of science-fiction plays by writers Gabriel Bisset-Smith, Joshua Conkel, Afsaneh Grey, Sara Pascoe, Simon Anderson as well as comedy from John Luke Roberts.

The Wyvern Theatre has announced that David Ashley will return to for this year's pantomime, Aladdin. Aladdin, starring Keith Chegwin, will run at the Wyvern Theatre from Saturday 8 December 2012 to Sunday 6 January 2013.

After the critical success of Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Northern Broadsides' resisdent director Conrad Nelson and playwright Deborah McAndrew once again team up to bring their unique brand of Northern inventiveness and humour to the stage with A Government Inspector, a Yorkshire take on Gogol's fantastical satire The Government Inspector. Created in partnership with Harrogate Theatres, the production premieres at Harrogate Theatre from 7 - 22 September before embarking on an English national tour until December 1st.
