SOMEONE TO BLAME Returns to King's Head 3-5 June, London
Someone To Blame, the acclaimed verbatim play telling the story of Sam Hallam, wrongly convicted of murder in 2004, returns to the King's Head Theatre following his release from prison on 16 May 2012 for performances at 7.15pm on the 3rd to 5th of June, 2012.
On Thursday 17 May 2012, Sam Hallam’s conviction for murder was officially quashed at The Royal Courts of Justice. He had spent the last seven years of his life in prison, for a crime he did not commit.
The King’s Head Theatre produced Tess Berry-Hart’s verbatim play Someone To Blame, telling his story, in March 2012. To celebrate his freedom, we are bringing the production back to the King’s Head, with added scenes to bring the play up-to-date.
All profits will go towards the Sam Hallam Campaign.
Miscarriages of justice might not always make the news, but they still happen. This is Sam's story. Word for word.
Directed by David Mercatali, the show features lighting design by Richard?Williamson.
All tickets are £10 from www.kingsheadtheatre.com and 020 7478 0160.
