Born and raised on Long Island she still lives in the same town she grew up in. She had a long career as a US Customs Broker and in her youth a cashier at a local supermarket but taking photos has always been in the background. She has been shooting for BWW since 2003-2004 season, but has been behind a camera for close to 50 years. When not shooting for Broadway, she enjoys reading, crocheting and crafts. And one day she will find the bottom of her yarn stash.
Last night, June 7, Matthew Broderick served as the special guest performer in the famed Celebrity Autobiography at the Triad Theatre. The 2009 Drama Desk Award winner and 2010 Bistro Award winner Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words also featured Mario Cantone, Dick Cavett, Jackie Hoffman, Kristen Johnston, Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel, Sherri Shepherd, and Alan Zweibel. This tribute to the boomers music of the 60's and 70's, celebrated the soundtrack of sisters and Tony-nominated actresses, Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway's childhood with unforgettable songs from the 60s and 70s. The dynamic sister duo also shared heartwarming and humorous stories of their years growing up in Chicago and New York.

Television star Ray Romano headlined the 'Ray of Hope' benefit concert, which benefited the Sass Foundation and their work towards the treatment and cure of ovarian cancer. Tony nominated Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever, Footloose) joined Ray Romano who performed his Vegas style comedy. Also performing was Broadway performer Craig Schulman (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera) and media personality Valerie Smaldone emceed.
In celebration of Paper Mill's 72nd season, the Millburn theater held a special celebration event featuring Stephen Schwartz, Liz Callaway and a special performance by Michael Rose, singing songs from Broadway and the movies. The evening also featured a special award and tribute to the life and legacy of Lynn Redgrave.
The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's®10th Anniversary Season presented The Broadway Musicals of 1966, a year that brought us iconic shows such as, Cabaret, Mame, I Do! I Do!, Sweet Charity and The Apple Tree, last night, May 10. Overflowing with famous songs from major hit shows, the evening featured more dance numbers than any other Town Hall Broadway by the Year® concert this season. The evening was directed, choreographed and starred Jeffry Denman (who will be going to Broadway next season with this year's Off-Broadway hit musical, Yank!, which he also choreographed).
Yesterday evening, May 10, the Algonquin Hotel hosted the 75th Annual New York Drama Critics' Circle Award ceremony honoring the best of the 2009-2010 theatre season. This year's honorees included casts and creative teams of The Orphans' Home Cycle, Fences, Circle Mirror Transformation, The Aliens; Viola Davis, Annie Baker, and Hallie Foote. Presenters included Denzel Washington, who presented the Award for Sustained Achievement to his Fence's co-star Viola Davis, Tony Kushner and Marian Seldes.
Sing for Hope (www.singforhope.org), a public service organization for artists, joined forces with Yale University to present an evening of song performed by distinguished Yale alumni. The second annual Songs for Our Future concert took place in honor of Yale's 'Day of Service' as a benefit for Sing for Hope's Art U! program, which brings dynamic arts and leadership education to underserved New York City youth.

Yesterday evening, May 4, David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish, Tony winners for their performance as Billy in the hit musical Billy Elliot, reunited to support TrueChild in their Celebrity Cook-Off event. TrueChild is a leading national organization that helps all children break through stereotypes so they can be true to themselves and reach their full potential. Alvarez, Kowalik and Kulish were joined by 'Top Chef' season five finalists Carla Hall and Fabio Viviani. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the event.
On Monday, April 19, the stars came out to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of WET Productions, a non-profit dedicated to empowering women in the arts and media, at their Love Gala. Love was a one night only benefit performance of short plays on love, written by some of the hottest women writers in film, theater and TV and performed by celebrated actors. WETs notorious annual Gala followed the presentation. BroadwayWorld was there for the celebration.

Two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco and Tony nominee Alison Pill will star in the Naked Angles-produced American premiere of This Wide Night, by Blackburn Prize-winning playwright Chloe Moss, directed by Anne Kauffman. Previews begin May 8, 2010 and the play will officially open at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre on May 16, 2010. This Wide Night will run through June 20, 2010. Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, and Richard Cohen recently announced the formation of a new CD label, GPR Records, (www.GPRRecords.com), which will record and distribute Broadway, classical, spoken word, and children's music. GPR aims to surprise listeners with recordings that are both unusual and entertaining. Last night on April 4th, the group presented 'Poetic License: 100 Poems by 100 Performers' at The Bowery in celebration of the release of its first recording. Grammy Award-winner and platinum-selling recording artist Melissa Manchester joined the cast of The Town Hall's Broadway Musicals of 1948 on Monday, March 22. Continuing the 10th Anniversary celebration of The Town Hall's Broadway by the Year ® concert series, Manchester joined the cast of musical theater performers celebrating shows that graced Broadway stages in 1948, including Cole Porter's classic Kiss Me Kate and Frank Loesser's Where's Charley?. The show was hosted, created and written for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel.
