Neal Hefti, Composer of The Odd Couple and Barefoot in the Park Film Scores, Dies at 85

Neal Hefti, a jazz arranger and composer of the the Batman and The Odd Couple theme songs died on Saturday October 11th, 2008 from complications due to cancer. He was 85 years old.

Stroili's 'Straight Up with a Twist' to Perform at LA Comedy Festival

What On Stage is reporting that Sean Holmes will succeed David Farr as the Artistic Director of London't Lyric Hammersmith. Holmes will begin in the Spring of 2009. David Farr announced he was leaving the position this past May after three years at the Hammersmith. He will now be the Associate Director fo the Royal Shakespeare Company.
