ErinMarie Reiter is a San Diego native and has been involved in theater since she was young, working both on stage and behind the scenes. Having studied musical and children’s theatre ErinMarie believes in the power of the arts and that opportunities in theatre are a vital component of a well-rounded education for all ages. She feels lucky to live and write about theatre in San Diego which has many world-renowned theatres and often is the birthplace of Broadway and worldwide blockbuster productions.

ErinMarie is President of the San Diego Critic’s Circle, works with educators to encourage the art of entertainment and liver performance writing, and is a member of the American Theatre Critics Association. When not at the theatre she can usually be found reading a book, cuddling with her animals, and going on adventures with her husband and her friends. Review: LEMPICKA at La Jolla Playhouse Is a Bold and Compelling Musical Portrait - This musical is bold, dynamic, and contemporary, and offers a compelling look at a unique artist as she learns about herself, art, and love. I am so excited to see how it has evolved for Broadway since it was at the La Jolla Playhouse.
Review: “TL;DR: THELMA LOUISE; A DYKE REMIX” at Diversionary Theatre - Love supporting new work that isn't afraid to push boundaries and be wildly creative. This show had many workshops in NY, including being supported by the Richard Rodgers Award administered by The Academy of Arts and Letters, and was presented at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre’s Festival of New Musicals before premiering in San Diego.
Review: THE OUTSIDERS at La Jolla Playhouse - Like Lempicka, I love seeing how shows that call San Diego home evolve and perform in New York. This show had some fantastic lighting and choreography, and the rumble is not to be missed.
