This week on Broadwaysted, we're thrilled to be welcoming the Godfather of the Broadway Mix Belt, the hilarious and incredible Liz Callaway! On this episode we are having the 'Best Day Ever' because we're sitting down with one of Broadway's Power Couples: the incredibly talented, Tony-nominated Lauren Worsham and the Bookwriter of SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS on Broadway, Kyle Jarrow!

We're pouring out wine and manischewitz after Passover dinner and sharing some laughs with #DadoftheShow Steve Plofsky! A self-proclaimed 'tough critic,' Steve spills about the Broadway shows that he's enjoyed, the surprising productions that weren't his cup of tea, and his memories taking a younger Bryan to the theatre.

It's 'March Madness'--that time of the year when all of our sportsball-obsessed friends start filling out brackets and making predictions about who will end up winning the College Sportsball Cup...or something. Well, while Game Master Kimberly was off celebrating the anniversary of marrying #EnemyoftheShow Jay Schmidt, Broadwaysted Bros Bryan and Kevin decided theatre kids should get in on the 'Madness.'

When it comes to Newsies, we've 'Gotta Catch 'Em All' so this week we're thrilled to be joined by the amazing and talented Ryan Breslin! We're pouring out Bribon Tequila & Grapefruit and Hudson Baby Bourbon while we chat about our recent Escape to Margaritaville, Ryan's dream to create a Ben Folds jukebox musical, and Ryan's experience dancing in Hollywood with Channing Tatum. 'Uncle Bres' educates us on Hip Hop, spills about being shrunk and placed in Jackie Hoffman's purse, and tells us about his shoe box full of 'Stage Door Stories' memorabilia.

We've really got a unique bar going this week: Tyler's rocking a Reyka Vodka, Soda, and lime. Kimberly's channeling Adam Rippon with some Oyster Bay Sauv Blan. Bryan and Kevin are sticking with whiskey, Bryan choosing Hudson Manhattan Rye and Kevin a sensible Maker's Mark on the rocks.

This week on Broadwaysted we are ready to rock with our new #FriendoftheShow, SCHOOL OF ROCK Tony nominee Alex Brightman! We're pouring out fancy martinis with Reyka Vodka while Alex spills about learning the stamina for SCHOOL OF ROCK from Elphaba, attending the movie premieres of MIGHTY DUCKS 2 and CASPER, and the incredible whirlwind experience of being nominated for a Tony in the year of the Hamil-Tony Awards.

He's appearing in his first musical on Broadway, he's our first actor from the epic Marvel Universe, and we talk about immortalizing his first sweater--lots of firsts as Andrew Polk from THE BAND'S VISIT gets Broadwaysted. This week, we're coming to you pre-matinee so we switched out the cocktails for coffee and donuts (and KIND Bars) while Andrew spills about his current gig on Broadway (the critically-acclaimed THE BAND'S VISIT) as well as his role in the binge-tastic Netflix series HOUSE OF CARDS.

This week, we're bringing you an extra special Broadwaysted episode recorded Live at BroadwayCon 2018 with the incredible Sierra Boggess! We're pouring out beer, wine, and Hudson Whiskey while Sierra spills about her love of AIDA, her harrowing experiences with THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and her impressive ability to quote Jim Carrey.

BroadwayCon 2018 was an absolute blast and the Broadwaysted Team was right there for it all! We had an amazing time recording Broadwaysted Live in front of a fantastic audience with our new #FriendoftheShow Sierra Boggess (don't worry, we'll release that episode soon...) and loved every moment of our 'Stage Door Stories' panel with some of our best #FriendsoftheShow: James Monroe Iglehart, Hayley Podschun, and Alexandra Silber (which will also be popping up as an episode one of these days...) But this week, the Broadwaysted Crew is coming to you live from the BroadwayCon Marketplace where we hung out at the booth called 'Podcast Place' with some of our favorite #FriendsoftheShow!

This week, the Broadwaysted Crew is having the 'Best Day Ever' with Wesley Taylor, one of the stars of SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS! We're pouring out a few rounds of Hudson Manhattan Rye and sharing a lot of laughs as Wesley gushes about working with Tina Landau and how the role of Plankton was 'Taylor-Made.'

This week the Broadwaysted Crew is pouring out laughs and Maker's Mark with Tim Dolan, the hilarious and knowledgeable actor/entrepreneur behind Broadway Up Close Tours. Kevin and Bryan recently got a chance to see the Theatre District in a SPOOK-tacular way: on BUC's 'Ghostlight Tour: Haunted Broadway' featuring Tour Guide Tim himself! On this episode, Tim spills to us about his time in ALTAR BOYZ, shares some hilarious things people have asked on a tour, and sheds light on the way he developed a creative passion project into a successful business.

This week the Broadwaysted Crew is making a list and checking it twice...though we probably should have actually checked the list twice! Bryan, Kevin, and Kimberly are pouring out a few rounds of alcoholic mango iced tea and ranking the Top 15 Movie Musicals that haven't had a notable stage production but really should (and even one that has had a stage production...whoops!) 2017 was an incredible year for NYC theater and this week, the Broadwaysted crew is toasting the Best of 2017 and the excitement of 2018 in style! We're thrilled to be coming to you from the beautiful Fine & Rare on 37th street where we're enjoying incredible cocktails like a Smoked Old Fashioned with one of our best #FriendsoftheShow, Annoying Actor Friend Andrew Briedis.

This week, the Broadwaysted Crew released Part Three of their spoof of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol written by show cohost Kevin Jaeger. In the epic conclusion of A Broadwaysted Carol Channing, Scrooge (Michael Cerveris) attends a party hosted by his niece, Fred (Jenna Ushkowitz) and gets a terrifying glimpse of his future.

This week, the Broadwaysted Crew was back with Part Two of their 'Broadway Baby' treatment of Charles Dickens' classic tale penned by show cohost Kevin Jaeger. The Saga of Scrooge (Michael Cerveris) continues with a host of special appearances by some of Broadway's brightest stars including James Monroe Iglehart, Lesli Margherita, Hannah Elless, Kara Lindsay, Adam Kaplan and many more!

Part One of A Broadwaysted Carol Channing premiered this week on the Broadwaysted Podcast and BroadwayWorld got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creation of their second radio play. Written by Kevin Jaeger and featuring the Broadwaysted Crew with an All-Star cast of Friends of the Show, this spoof on the classic Dickens tale hopes to entertain and raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Broadwaysted, the popular and hilarious theater podcast, is thrilled to announce the World Premiere of A Broadwaysted Carol Channing, a three-part radio play spoof of Charles Dickens' classic tale 'A Christmas Carol' featuring an All-Star cast of Broadway favorites. Written and edited by Kevin Jaeger, A Broadwaysted Carol Channing serves as the centerpiece of Broadwaysted's Holiday campaign to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS this December.
