The Vienna State Opera also opened this year its new season with an open day. Visitors have the opportunity to take a detailed look behind the scenes and explore all those areas the Opera House, which remain closed to the public generally. Individual departments present themselves as part of this open day, popular ensemble members are experiencing with samples and small, personal music programs. Choir and Orchestra Rehearsal, Ballet sample and a sample of the Opera School of the Vienna State Opera are also on the further insight into how the music library and a small exhibition of valuable costumes program. The art show, which provides the capabilities and performance of the stage machinery, acoustics and lighting department of the house demonstrate completes the open day.
