Join NICA Represents this April Fools Day weekend for Raven Mad, the premiere of an absurd outdoor circus street-battle between the local bureaucratic ravens and an eccentric family of hard-rubbish collectors, all unpacked from a blue box-trailer. This free show is proudly supported by the City of Stonnington, on 13 April at Prahran Square, Prahran.Directed by Mike Finch and designed by Emily Barrie, Raven Mad was created as a comic circus response to our collective current circumstances of social distancing, borders opening, closing and opening again. This is spectacular, funny, skilled circus street-theatre for everyone.Raven Mad is a shared celebratory, spectacular and comic event in an unexpected outdoor setting. Audiences can expect acrobatics, foot-juggling, skipping, disco, hula-hoops, meteor-bowls, slapstick, mouth-sticking, hand-balancing, slipper-kicking, ball-manipulation, bottle-balancing, contortion, improvisation, ladder-walking, bag-pipe-impersonation, box-stepping and barbecuing.DATES: Friday 1, Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 April 2022TIME: 4pm & 6.30pm each dayVENUE: Prahran Square, corner of Izzett and Chatham Streets, Prahran.DURATION: 50 minutesTICKETS: Free.BOOKINGS: Open event.
