Gugu Dindi Gunyah is a world-premiere First Nations-led multi-disciplinary concert created and led by Mutti Mutti, Nari Nari, Yorta Yorta Songman Kutcha Edwards, sung entirely in the Aboriginal languages of Song Keepers from across Victoria. The concert is a celebration of culture, resilience and collective belonging shaped by rivers, songlines, ancestral stories and shared memory, framed as a journey of reconnection to culture, community and self. The performance features Song Keepers and artists including Deborah Cheetham Fraillon AO, Wayne Thorpe, Alice Skye, Stacie Nicholson-Piper, Neil Morris, and Boorook - Brett Clarke, directed by Kylie Belling with Music Director Aaron Choulai. The work marks the reopening of the newly refurbished Ian Potter State Theatre and is presented by PAYANGGATHA and Arts Centre Melbourne.
