ABOUT THE SHOW

This December, the Melbourne Shakespeare Company are back in the Rose Garden, and things are getting gloriously out of hand. 

Get ready for an enchanting new musical reimagining of Shakespeare's As You Like It, an outdoor spectacular bursting with pop hits, slapstick shenanigans and more decadence than a Versailles tea party.

When Rosalind gets kicked out of her uncle's court, she flees to the Forest of Arden with her bestie in tow and finds herself in a world where love, laughter and liberation run wild. Cue hilarious disguises, swooning lovers and a forest full of fools.

Visually inspired by Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette, this As You Like It is a pastel fever dream, balancing freedom and restraint, extravagance and nature, and glitter and grass stains.

Expect high energy, high camp and high fun.
