TexARTS Professional Series presents The Marvelous Wonderettes. Written and Created by Roger Bean. Directed by Kimberly Schafer. Music Directed by Lyn Koenning. Take a trip down memory lane to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet The Wonderettes; four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts. The show follows their lives and loves from prom night to their 10-year reunion. Featuring over 20 chart-topping hits of the 50’s and 60’s, including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” and “It’s My Party,” The Marvelous Wonderettes are sure keep you smiling!

February 17, 2020 The Marvelous Wonderettes return to TexARTS in an all new show! It's 1969, and The Marvelous Wonderettes are back at Springfield High to throw a retirement party for their favorite teacher. As the girls sing their way through the greatest girl-group hits of the '60s and bid Ms. McPherson a fond farewell, one of the Wonderettes reveals she'll also be saying goodbye to search for success and happiness on her own.
