Photo Flash: First Look- The City Theatre's RECKLESS
The City Theatre presents RECKLESS, Nov. 29-Dec. 21, and BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the show below!
Craig Lucas's comedy has been called the modern Christmas fable of our time. It's Christmas Eve, and Rachel Fitzsimmons' euphoric existence is shattered when she learns her husband took a contract out on her life. She escapes into a snowstorm and is swept away into the most fractured of fairy tales filled with crazed killers, insane therapists, over the top game show hosts, would-be paraplegics, and much more. Dark and wickedly funny, it is a hilarious, and often poignant, fifteen year journey forcing us to face, head on, the slipperiness of fate and the illusion of coming home again.
November 29 - December 21. Thursday - Saturday 8:00 pm. Sunday 5:30 pm. Two shows Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday and Sunday. The City Theatre, 3823 Airport Blvd. Suite D. 78722. General Seating $15. Front/2nd Row Reserved $20-25. Thursday all seats $10. Group and student discounts. For reservations, call 512-524-2870 or e-mail info@citytheatreaustin.org. www.citytheatreaustin.org
