Paradox Players Stage SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS, Now thru 2/23
Paradox Players presents the Austin premiere of Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks by Richard Alfieri, directed by Matthew Burnett and starring Cynthia Schiebel and Kirk Kelso.
This two character comedy opens with a formidable and still active senior citizen welcoming an eccentric and prickly dance instructor into her Florida condo. Sparks soon fly between this gay man and Southern Baptist minister's widow. But with each lesson, as they trade barbs and share secrets along with the dance steps, they forge a deeply intimate friendship.
Performances run tonight, February 7-23, 2014, playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm ~ Sundays at 3:00pm. All performances take place at Howson Hall Theater at First UU Church 4700 Grover Avenue, Austin, TX 78756.
Friday, February 7 is a Gala opening with special refreshments after the show Friday, February 14 is a Valentine Gala with champagne and chocolates at intermission.
