In this one-man theatrical performance in French with English supertitles, the philosophical and poetic thoughts of writer Felwine Sarr come to life through his character, the storyteller, performed by tienne Minoungou, who stands alone against the world while determined to address it. He describes his life experience since leaving Africa, to which he returns with a message of hope set to evocative music by Simon Winse. A panel discussion will follow the performance. The tour, which includes Princeton University and Duke University, is presented in collaboration with Alliance Franaise Atlanta, Atlantas Consulate General of France, FACE Foundation, Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta and Villa Albertine.
