Jeffrey Hatcher's adaptation of Henry James' Gothic tale, directed by Kati Grace Kirby, follows a new governess who begins to see the ghosts that haunt the children at an English Manor, including her predecessor's specter. The production raises the question of whether the ghosts are real or a product of the governess's own fevered imagination. Performed in the round with live atmospheric piano accompaniment, this one-week-only production contains mature subject matter and does not admit anyone under 14 without a parent or guardian. Daniela Santiago appears in the production.
