Atlanta Chinese Dance Company presents an original production that explores the rich tapestry of Chinese and Chinese American history through dance. The program features a collection of vibrant Chinese dances inspired by memories of Chinatown and premieres the mini dance drama "Votes for Women," spotlighting the efforts of suffragist Mabel Ping-Hua Lee. This performance showcases over 100 dancers of varying ages, bringing to life the stories of community and resilience during a pivotal era in American history. Choreographed by Kerry Lee, alongside guest artists Lilia Cardosi and Cailan Orn, this work emphasizes themes of solidarity and collective progress.
