ONCE UPON A ONE MORE TIME to be Presented at Orbit Arts Academy
Broadway's Anthony Galde directs Orbit Company students in the Britney Spears jukebox musical.
Orbit Arts Academy, in association with Orbit Theatrical, will present Once Upon a One More Time, the jukebox musical that reimagines classic fairytale heroines through the iconic music of Britney Spears. The production features students from the Orbit Company training program.
Set in a storybook kingdom where happily-ever-afters are the norm, Once Upon a One More Time follows a group of princesses who begin to question the narratives they've been given. When a mysterious book arrives, they are introduced to new perspectives on identity, independence, and empowerment-sparking a revolution that turns their world upside down. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and hit songs audiences know and love, the show delivers both spectacle and substance.
The cast of Orbit Company students is led by Broadway's Anthony Galde (Director), Jillian Hanes-Murray (Choreographer), Shane Simmons (Musical Director), and Broadway's Brad Bass (Additional Direction). This production is a culmination of months of intense musical theatre training. The Orbit Company program provides students with focused instruction in acting, singing, dance, and ensemble storytelling. Students spend the fall semester growing their technical skillset, and apply those skills in a full-scale Spring production.
All performances will take place at Orbit Arts Academy (8610 Roswell Road, Suite #200, Sandy Springs, Georgia) April 24th-26th & May 1st-3rd. Visit OrbitArtsAcademy.com for tickets and more information.
