In Brian Sutton's new retro-pop musical, SEARCHING FOR ROMEO, Roz is having a bad day. Not only was she dumped by her high school boyfriend, she finds herself transported to Shakespeare's fair Verona, as Rosaline, and wanders into the balcony scene. She learns that she's been dumped again, but this time it's by Romeo. Things seem to be looking up when she forges an unlikely friendship with Juliet's rejected suitor, Paris. Can Rosaline and Paris achieve the goal which eludes Romeo and Juliet: a happy ending?

The cast of SEARCHING FOR ROMEO features Angela Travino, Mark Lanham, Zal Owen (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF - National Tour), Justine Magnusson (WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND - National Tour), Natalie Newman (GREASE - National Tour), Greg Horton, Josh Tolle, Leah Jennings, Sam Tedaldi, Melissa Hirsch, Angelo McDonough, Sean McIntyre, Justin Randolph, Alison Alampi and Robby Dalton.

The design and production team for SEARCHING FOR ROMEO is Lewis Folden (set design), Susan Hamburger (lighting design), David Crowley (costume design), Jared Kirby (fight director) and Suellen Vance/Good People Management (General Management Team).

NYMF is the flagship program of The National Music Theater Network, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, and is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency. Now celebrating its 11th year, The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) exists to revitalize musical theatre culture by discovering and promoting new musical theatre artists, producers and projects, nurturing a vibrant and innovative artistic community, and connecting one of America's greatest art forms with a diverse, contemporary audience.

Tickets are general admission and can be purchased at www.NYMF.org. Membership packages to purchase tickets for multiple shows are also available.
