William Ryall Reprises Cabaret Show October 24 & 31

After playing to sold-out audiences last August, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's William Ryall will return with his show Flying Cars and Falling Chandliers to Danny's Skylight Room (346 W. 46th St.) on Monday, October 24th and Monday, October 31st at 9:15 PM.

The show is a "hilarious and touching look at one man's route from a small town to the Great White Way," according to a press article.  Directed by Tim Herman (The Money Shot and Money Shot Two) and with musical direction by Steven Silverstein, the show features original songs by Silverstein including "I'm a Mommy Too" and "The Path You Choose".

The falling chandeliers of the title refer to Ryall's stint in a touring company of The Phantom of the Opera. "William Ryall was born and grew to be 6 feet 5 inches tall in the small town of Norwich, New York (home of Pepto Bismol). He was convinced that Broadway was his calling after seeing a young Tommy Tune dance on 'The Tonight Show' starring Johnny Carson. Years later he would do four shows with Tune including understudying him in My One and Only. In addition to nine shows on Broadway, Ryall has appeared numerous times at the crack of dawn on 'The Today Show' and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, as well as 'The Rosie O'Donnell Show'."  Ryall made his Broadway debut in Me and My Girl, and has also appeared in Chess, Seussical, Amadeus, High Society, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public and Grand Hotel.
