Mauricio Martínez is getting ready to hit the stage at 54 Below! The Emmy Award winner and Tony Award watcher has had a lot of self-tape sides filling up his Dropbox. In his new show, 5'11, Based in NYC, he's putting those to good use in a musical "What If...," sorting through what might have been. Pushing aside the ring light, the show is an electric night of musical theatre, featuring a band led by musical director Brian J. Nash and featuring special guests, the "Mexican Marvel," hailed as a "world class vocalist" by BroadwayWorld, proudly debuts his new solo show at 54 Below.

"It's a brand-new show! My director Robbie Rozelle and I are crafting a very funny, very personal show," he explained to BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge. "The idea of this show is to perform most of the self-tapes that I've been asked to do and the roles that people always tell me I'm perfect for."
