Allison and Jake have only just begun their new lives as husband and wife when a tragic accident changes everything. Confined to a hospital bed and trapped inside a body that won't cooperate, Allison hears the world around her, but the world cannot hear her.

As weeks turn to months, Jake loses hope of getting his wife back and he is forced to choose between his marriage vows and the life he imagined for himself. Is the love they had before the accident enough to tackle the uncertainty of what lies ahead? One foot in each world, both must decide whether to continue the fight, or to finally let each other go.

With a story by award-winning playwright Jessica Lind Peterson and a gorgeous original score by contemporary folk sensation Blake Thomas, Flowers for the Room is a stunning new musical about human resilience and the power of choice.
