From start to finish, or rather, from AN ACT OF GOD to SHUFFLE ALONG, the 2015-16 Broadway season was packed with exciting productions that expanded boundaries, honored traditions, made us laugh, made us cry, made us gasp and made us cheer.

New stars like Lupita Nyong'o and Daveed Diggs took their first steps on Broadway while seasoned pros like Frank Langella and Jessica Lange showed how it's done. New voices like Sara Bareilles and Florian Zeller were welcomed while old favorites like Andrew Lloyd Webber and George C. Wolfe showed they still have plenty to say.

This new video released by The Tony Awards celebrates the amazing collection of nominated artists that made this season so special.

The American Theatre Wing's 70th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Tony Award winner James Corden, will air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The Tony Awards, which honors theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been broadcast on CBS since 1978. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
