Look around! On last night's MAYA AND MARTY on NBC, Maya Rudolph joined SCHOOL OF ROCK's Luca Padovan, A BRONX TALE's Joshua Colley and KINKY BOOTS' Douglas Baldeo in a tribute to the 11-time Tony winning musical Hamilton! Watch the performance below!
HAMILTON is now playing at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.
HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway,HAMILTON is the story of America then, as told by America now.
About MAYA & MARTY: From executive producer Lorne Michaels, the incomparable Maya Rudolph and Martin Short join forces for an all-new comedy show jam-packed with music, stars, and the unique characters and charisma of two of the biggest icons in SNL history. HAMILTON Will Make Middle Eastern Debut in Abu Dhabi Next Year
The Tony®️, Grammy®️, Olivier and Pulitzer Prize winning musical, HAMILTON, is making its Middle Eastern debut in Abu Dhabi at Etihad Arena next year! The production will run from 17 January until 4 February, 2024.
