Broadway leading man Christopher J. Hanke (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) began performances as Alex More in the smash hit comedy Buyer & Cellar on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Buyer & Cellar, which recouped its initial investment faster than any Off-Broadway show in recent history and continues to break box office records, was just nominated for a 2014 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show. Buyer & Cellar is written by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Stephen Brackettand is produced by Darren Bagert, Dan Shaheen and Ted Snowdon.

Buyer & Cellar had its world premiere in April 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, where it received rave reviews and played a sold-out, extended run before transferring to the Barrow Street Theatre where it opened June 24, 2013.
