NBC has named Tracie Fiss and Bob Read as celebrity talent producers for the new alternative series "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris."

Fiss and Read have extensive experience booking both A-list and up-and-coming talent for a variety of programs, most notably "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Fiss worked on "The Tonight Show" for 20 years, where she was a co-producer. Read held the same title at "The Tonight Show" and was on staff for 14 years.

Fiss began her career in casting on MTV's "The Real World" before shifting to "The Tonight Show." Other credits include "The Maya Rudolph Show" and Fusion, a joint venture between Univision and ABC News. Read's credits include "Last Comic Standing," "Chelsea Lately" and "New Year's Eve with Carson Daly."

For "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris," Fiss and Read will book several segments on the hourlong live show, including eight guest announcer spots and a variety of taped and live segments that involve celebrities. They'll also be responsible for securing musical guests for the segment "Sing-along Live."

"Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris," which premieres Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, is based on the wildly popular British hit "Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway" and includes stunts, skits, pranks, audience interaction, musical numbers, giveaways and unlimited surprises.

Neil Patrick Harris, Orly Adelson, Siobhan Greene, David A. Hurwitz, Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly executive produce. "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris" is produced by ITV Studios America.
