The Theater People Podcast Welcomes Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley

On Friday, July 22, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway favorites Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley.

Skinner and Ripley first worked together when they were cast as Daisy and Violet Hilton in the 1998 production of SIDE SHOW. The pair reunited on stage in 2000 in the Broadway production of James Joyce'S THE DEAD.

Though they each went on to have separate thriving careers, the demand for them to perform together resulted in the two teaming up for several concerts and the album "Duets" and "Unsuspecting Hearts." The two have joined forces again for the new album "Unattached," which was recorded live at Feinstein's / 54 Below and released by Broadway Records.

For the episode, the two share memories of their first impressions of each other, talk about why they make such a good vocal team, and why now is the right time for them to be working together again for the first time in nine years.
