Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Brynn O'Malley, who is starring as 'Grace Farrell' in ANNIE- currently in previews at the Palace Theatre, and opening on November 8.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

The revival of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLEY BROWN. It was my first trip to the city and my friend, Leah Stempky, was going to school at NYU. She ran down to TKTS and got us the tickets and I was so overwhelmed. First time on the subway, first steps into Times Square, first Broadway show... all at once. I remember feeling literally dizzy.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

Hmmm...nothing too weird. I like to blast a lot Kanye, Biggie, and Ol’ Dirty Bastard from 7:15-7:55...I imagine from the outside that seems like an odd pairing with ANNIE?

I like to put in some orphan time either before the show or at intermission. Otherwise I feel like I don’t get to see them. If they’re not rehearsing, then they’re busy getting educated. I have no idea how they do it. I would be so fried.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

This isn't my craziest but it's one of my favorites because it's so uniquely show specific. When I was doing Avenue Q I wore my mic in a belt that was strapped around my thigh. The wire then ran up my back and was held with clips in my hair. One night during the opening number, the belt popped off and the mic fell down, out from under my skirt, yanking my head back by my hair. So the mic was just swinging back and forth out the bottom of my skirt. Now, I was operating Kate Monster….so I had no hands. One hand was in her head and the other was on the rod. So our “Brian” (one of the “humans”) spent the rest of the number trying to subtly stuff the mic back up into my skirt’s waistband. Unfortunately, in a miscalculated attempt at being a gentleman, he tried to do it via the outside of the skirt...so I essentially spent the rest of the number trying not to turn around because I looked like one of those women who walked out of the bathroom with her skirt tucked into her underpants. Puppets.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Blanche Du Bois please.

Who is your Broadway crush?

Beth Leavel….she knows how I feel about her. She’s reading this right now. Hi Berty…

Where can people stalk you online?

Oof. I joined Twitter recently. It's really hard to keep up but I'm trying to be good about it. @BrynnOMalley
